Funding Applications Available

Hey Cougs!

I hope everyone had a great break! I just wanted to let everyone know about the opportunities ASWSU offers you whether you need support or a way to get involved. As the Director of Finance it is my responsibility to maintain all of the finances as well as ensure that money spent is beneficial for the students. We have developed a funding request form available on the website or at this link http://aswsu.wsu.edu/current_projects_program_funding.aspx. Registered Student Organizations or groups from around campus can apply for funding from the ASWSU Executive Staff as long as it meets our requirements. The most important requirement is that your program or event you are requesting funding for is open to all students. The request form provides all instructions on how to apply. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email.

Also, if you have a program you would like advertised throughout the community or would just like to spread the word, contact me! I do a weekly radio show called Wazzu Wednesday with Steve Shannon from the local radio station, ZFun 106.1. The show is two hours long and we have plenty of time to talk about your program or group. ASWSU also has other opportunities for you to get involved such as PB&J Club, GIVE, and SafeWalk. We are currently working on purchasing more items for SafeWalk to ensure a safer atmosphere for our volunteers, such as jackets, flashlights, and Yak Tracks for those icy nights. I encourage everyone to contact me or any member of the staff if you have any questions or concerns regarding ASWSU or Washington State University in general. We are here for the students and want to hear your feedback. I also encourage everyone to check out our website as it has changed drastically since the beginning of the year and is looking great.
